Jus last week, YG Entertainment’s top girl group 2NE1 made an appearance on the American reality show, ABC’s “The Bachelor.” Their appearance on the show instantly improved their music sails over night as they have reached number 3 on iTunes Top Songs in America and number 1 on Canada’s iTunes Top Songs.
YG-Life commented on 2NE1’s sudden changing status saying,“2NE1 coached the guests how to dance ‘I Am the Best,’ and one of them extolled their song and the choreography by saying it attracted 77 million views on YouTube. Another mentioned 2NE1’s the most popular K-Pop group in Korea, all very excited”
The girls amazed “Bachelor” Juan Pablo Galavis and the contestants with their fashion and their impressive talent.
Their growing popularity is not stoping there, K-Pop is expanding more then ever across the globe much rapidly, especially with international celebrities such as Jay, a member of the English-Irish boy band The Wanted. The Wanted member was recently photographed wearing an ” I <3 2NE1″ T-shirt while he signing autographs for fans. This has spread online, capturing Blackjacks attention everywhere.
Jay’s support has not stopped there! A video was recently posted of him singing the catchy tune of their hit, “I am the Best”:
2NE1 and fellow label mates, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and Taeyang, were featured in a recent article in New York Magazine, highlighting the growing popularity of K-pop fashion.
At the moment, 2NE1 is preparing for their much anticipated second world tour.
