It was confirmed that The Baddest Female is going to officially debut as a solo artist in the States next spring!
CL will team up with Scooter Braun – the same person who helped PSY grow into a global star. According to sources, Scooter Braun sees a big potential in her rapping and vocal skills, as well as her English ability.
YG Entertainment revealed, “She is now working on her new single. We’ll announce exact schedule for the album’s release as soon as they are fixed.”
If we take a look at the current music scene in the States, we can see that female rappers are doing extremely well with Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea leading the group. Additionally, the fact that she has previously worked with big names such as Will.I.Am, Snoop Dogg, Rita Ora and Skrillex might only help her to reach the broader audience.
