With the preemption of the November 28th broadcast of Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN, it’s been revealed that 2NE1’s “Missing You” took this week’s number one win. This week’s broadcast of M COUNTDOWN was canceled and instead a highlight episode of the 2013 MAMA was aired.
On November 28th, YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 took the number one trophy for the fourth week of November on M COUNTDOWN. “Missing You” was release on November 21st and quickly ranked number one on the music sites. The song still continues to maintain a high ranking on music charts.
Upon hearing the news, Sandara Park tweeted, “Today, M COUNTDOWN didn’t air~ But we received good news that 2NE1’s Missing You was number one on M COUNTDOWN. We regret that we couldn’t perform, but we’ll make a good stage next time. Thank you so much for loving Missing You!”
