On the heels of his highly successful Japanese debut, 2PM‘s Jun. K has released a Korean version of his song “No Love“!

The video has everything it needs for success:  saturated colors, a giant panda, a cape, carnival equipment and most importantly – an incredibly good looking Jun. K. In all seriousness, the video is very well shot, giving a very surreal air to the song which matches the content of the song very well.  I especially liked the effect where the girl was burning away.  It reminded me of another video where the departed girlfriend disappears in a cloud of steam.

As for the song, it is perfectly suited for Jun. K’s voice and I freely admit I’ve got it on repeat.  I am not a fan of ballads unless they feel like expansive and sweeping with a quality that makes it seem as though it belongs in a musical or on the OST of an amazing drama.  I would love more songs that had this feeling, what about you?

I give this a 9 out of 10.
