It seems Eunji will be the first member in A Pink to make her solo debut later this year.
Eunji is currently staring in KBS' drama "Trot Lovers" and she has showcased her great potential as a trot singer in the music genre, so many people are expecting her to make a solo debut with a trot album. However, A Cube Entertainment responded to the rumour saying that Eunji will come out with a solo album but it won't be trot.
A rep from the agency said,"It's true that we received an offer for Eunji to release a trot album, but we don't have any plan for it. We think that whatever starts in the drama should stay within the drama. We want to protect the image of Eunji as an A Pink's member and a singer of trendy music", "Currently Eunji is preparing for her solo album, thought the exact date hasn't been decided yet but you will be able to hear it will be within this year".
In addition, A Pink will start their Japanese activities with a showcase in Tokyo on August 4th.
