On January 29th, YG Entertainment’s president Yang Min Seok and Asiana Airlines signed a MOU to do business together, a new partnership deal, with the presence of the 2NE1 members.
According to the agreement of the MOU, Asiana Airlines will act as the official airlines for YG Entertainment’s artists in the whole year of 2013 and provide free or discounted flights to YG’s artists for their global concerts, schedules and other events. While in turn, YG’s artists will help promote Asiana Airlines in its global activities and concerts by displaying the logo of Asiana Airlines, setting up special promotional booths and airing advertisements.
The vice president of Asiana Airlines, Ryu Kwang Hee, shared, “Through this partnership with YG, which is quickly becoming the center of the hallyu wave, we look forward to seeing the Asiana brand grow and we hope the nation’s recognition will also increase.”
