It was revealed that Aziatix signed an exclusive contract with Cash Money Records, home for stars such as Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Wayne.
The agency’s CEO, Slim, announced on February 9th, at the 55th Grammy Awards, that Aziatix has signed on with the company and revealed that he wants to make them into a successful global group.
It was also revealed that the contract is over 11.3 million dollars, which makes it the biggest record deal between an Asian-American hip-hop group and an overseas company.
Josh Berkman, Cash Money’s A&R, stated: “We were courting Aziatix before PSY broke, but that certainly helped.”
Aziatix’s Flowsik wrote on his Twitter on February 10th: “After years of wishful thinking, faith, doubt, hard work, and patience, I am officially signed to Cash Money Records/YMCMB…thank you to all our AZIADDICTS…time to work even hard now. #GodisGood #DreamsDoComeTrue #OnlyifyouBelieve #andnevergiveup #accordingtoyourcalling.”
