Within hours of its release, BewhY and CJamm‘s duet single titled “Puzzle,” topped eight local music charts consisting of Bugs, Genie, MelOn, Mnet, Monkey3, Naver Music, Olleh Music, and Soribada.
Instead of holding special promotional events or having media announcements prior to the release, the two rappers secretly revealed the collaboration track through BewhY‘s personal social media outlet on Tuesday.
“Puzzle” was released on Wednesday at midnight KST and ended the three day streak of BLACKPINK‘s “Whistle” as No. 1 on local music charts.
A month into its release, BewhY‘s track titled “Day Day” featuring Jay Park is still securing a spot in the top 10 on various local music charts.
The two rappers recently appeared on Mnet‘s “Show Me The Money 5” with BewhY as the winner and CJamm as the runner up. Through the show, both of them have caught the eyes of many people due to their authentic and fierce raps and past history. It was revealed that the two rappers had been best friends since their high school days.
