BIGBANG and VIPs once again proved their unity by bagging one of the most prestigious international awards from MTV IGGY United States, naming BIGBANG’s “Bang Bang Bang” as 2015 International Song of the Summer!
MTV IGGY US gave the announcement through its Official Facebook page saying, “BOOM! Or shall we say, BIGBANG? “Bang Bang Bang” wins International Song of Summer 2015!” Such award gave every fans around the world everlasting and overflowing happiness as the song garnered a whopping 50.75% of the votes, giving them such sweet victory. The poll itself started July 13 and was officially closed July 20.

It was not an easy battle for BIGBANG as huge names such as its label-mate CL of 2NE1 featuring global sensation Diplo and American hip-hop artists RiFF RAFF and OG Maco with their song “Doctor Pepper” was also nominated on the said poll and came in second place with 29.53%. Also in the running were Grammy award winners and world-renowned artists such as Rihanna with her “B***h Better Have My Money“, Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar‘s “Bad Blood” ,
