March 26th marks actor Choi Woo Shik’s 27th birthday (26th internationally) so let’s take the time today to wish him well!
Born in South Korea, Choi Woo Shik moved to Canada with his parents when he was in fifth grade. He returned to Korea ten years later to go on auditions and he soon made his acting debut in the drama ‘The Duo’ in 2011.
He continued his acting career and starred in dramas such as ‘Rooftop Prince,’‘Fated to Love You’ and ‘Special Affairs Team TEN’ to name a few.
It wasn’t until 2014 when Choi Woo Shik starred in his first leading role in the movie titled ‘Set Me Free’ for which he won Actor of the Year award at the Busan International Film Festival. Most recently, Choi Woo Shik played Kang Ho Gu in a drama ‘Hogu’s Love’ based on the webtoon under the same title.
