BoA revealed that she felt like she was going to die when promoting in the States.
In a recent recording of SBS’ ‘Thank You,‘ BoA shared the hardest moments of her career in 2008, when she debut into the US music market.
“During my advancement into the US in 2008, things were so hard that I felt like I was going to die,” confessed BoA.
“I successfully debuted in Japan in 2001 and gradually rose to be a ‘star of Asia.’ But because of the thought that I had to start all over again in the US burdened me so much that I had a very difficult time.”
She added that she really felt like she could die because she couldn’t fully express her inner feelings to anyone and went through a time of serious loneliness that couldn’t be compared to what she’s experienced before.
The episode will air on August 9th.
