Not only have girl group gugudan announced that their maknaes, Mina and Hyeyeon will be forming a duo, gugudan5959, their upcoming title track and debut schedule have also been teased!
An animated teaser trailer was released on gugudan’s official Twitter, and announces that ‘Ice Chu’ will be released on August 10. The teaser features cute fruits and a jar of what appears to be juice pouring liquid inside of an ice cream!

The duo is named gugudan5959 based on the special number that Mina and Hyeyeon represent in gugudan. In Korean, 5959 can also be affectionately pronounced ‘ogu ogu.’
