Cha Tae Hyun and f(x)‘s Victoria have received offer to be the lead cast of the upcoming movie ‘My Sassy Girl 2’ and there is the possibility that they will accept the roles.
On April 3rd, Cha Tae Hyun’s agency staff spoke with Newsen, who said, “We’ve received the scenario for the movie ‘My Sassy Girl 2’ and are positively looking into it. We were offered the same role of Gyun Woo as in the first movie, but nothing is confirmed. We’ve really only received the scenario.”
The female lead character who will be collaborating with Cha Tae Hyun could be f(x)’s Victoria who also received an offer. Newsen also got the chance to spoke with SM Entertainment, who said, “We’re positively considering appearing in ‘My Sassy Girl 2.’ Victoria’s already been in several projects in China and have been receiving a lot of offers in China. She’s been building an actor’s image along with a singer’s.”
“My Sassy Girl 2” will be the sequel of “My Sassy Girl” that premiered in 2001. It will be a collaboration production between Korea and China. “My Sassy Girl” started a huge popularity with more than 5 million audience members and a special for Jun Ji Hyun and Cha Tae Hyun to stardom.
Once Victoria accept the role, it will be her debut on screen and Cha Tae Hyun will be his second time around to be the cast of the movie.
