On June 27th 2016, EXO‘s Chanyeol posted a photo on his Weibo which displayed an abundance of wreaths that his Chinese fans had sent him for the opening night of his new film “So I Married An Anti-Fan.” The extravagant wreaths are not only star shaped, but some of the wreaths were also of Chinese characters that spelt Chanyeol‘s name and the title of the film. 1467095854784_99_20160628160005

So I Married An Anti-Fan” is a romantic comedy film starring Park Chanyeol, Seo Ju-hyun, Jiang Chao, and Yuan Shanshan. The film was adapted from a manhwa of the same title and is written by Jiwan.

The film is about an entertainment reporter named Lee Geun Yeong (played by Yuan Shanshan) who gets fired after trying to reveal the secrets of Hallyu star, Hoo Joon (played by Park Chanyeol). After Lee Geun Yeong gets fired, she becomes an anti-fan, but after a string of events, she starts falling in love with Hoo Joon.

The film is slated to be released on June 30th, 2016 in China.
