On ‘Family’s Diginity – Full House‘, CN Blue‘s Jonghyun shared a funny story about his parents on the February 15th’s episode.
Jonghyun started off by saying, “Though my father usually helped me achieve what I want, he’s always said that it’s good fortune to have no children.”
He then said, “To be honest, before [I was cast in the drama] ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘, my parents hid the fact that I was part of CNBLUE. It was hard for them to explain that their child [is the guy who plays guitar and sings on the left], but all of a sudden, they started to brag about me.”
Host Lee Kyung Kyu comically added, “The thing with the parents of celebrities is that they’re against you going into the profession at first, but when you get popular, they brag about you,” making the audience burst in laughter.
I never realized that parents would not want to reveal that their children were idols, did you?
