Park YooChun known as a member of the group JYJ has been steadily making his name as a serious actor . Now his efforts have been recognized and rewarded after he won the highly coveted “Best New Actor” for his role in the high acclaimed movie “Sea Fog” at the 34th Korean Association of Film Critics Award . YooChun plays Dong Sik in the film , his character falls in love with Chinese Korean stowaway Hong Mae. The movie was released on August 14, 2015 and had been receiving excellent reviews since that time. The movie is based on an emotional true story.
It was also announce that YooChun will also be in the running for an Oscar. That’s is right “Sea Fog ” was selected as South Korea’s entry in the “Best Foreign Language Film Category” the winners of the 87th Annual Academy Awards will be announced on February 22, 2015.
