After the legal battle of 3 years and 4 months ended between JYJ and SM Entertainment last year, talks about the two parties re-uniting in the same formal setting, after the official lawsuit began in 2009, has been a hot topic.

Earlier this year, the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) posed a sanction against SM Entertainment for getting involved with JYJ‘s broadcasting rights and promotions.

Now, congressman Min Byung Du of the Democratic Party requested to The National Policy Committee that SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man and JYJ be called in to an ‘administrative inspection’ where the JYJ members will be the testifiers and Lee Soo Man the witness.

The reason behind the requests is to improve relationships in the entertainment industry, as stated by the congressman: “A large entertainment company was trying to reign over broadcast stations and singers with its influence. The purpose of the inspection is to raise up the need for an economic democratization in familiar areas such as entertainment.

No official request has been received by C-JeS Entertainment, as The National Policy Committee will be making  its official decision for the request on October 4th.
