All participants of the ‘Gyeonggido DMZ World Peace Concert‘ including popular artists BEAST, f(x), Girls’ Day, Ailee, Choi Min Soo, and Sam Hammington, have decided to donate their pay from the concert towards world peace.
Singer Kim Jang Hoon produced the concert and said, “The artists didn’t want a guarantee, so I told them ‘We have the funds already available for this concert, so get paid’. I got paid when I sang for the president, too. But I told them if they really didn’t want a guarantee, they should just donate it. We started talking about that, and for the first time in the world, the entire artist line up for a concert decided to donate it all for peace. Japanese artists will be performing at the concert as well, and when I told them what the others were doing, they were more than happy to participate in the donation as well.”
This charitable concert will be held on August 3rd.
