A reflection of his deteriorating will to stay in the industry, and his recent poor health, Dongho has decided to take a break from the entertainment world.
NH Media just recently posted a notice to their official website that U-Kiss‘ maknae, Shin Dongho, will be departing from the group and the industry altogether, as of October 15th.
It is truly a sad day for KissMes and the Korean Entertainment industry alike.
Dongho, who was always considered as U-Kiss’ “MVP’, participated in many reality shows, dramas and movies, entering the entertainment industry at a very young age. Now he hopes to lead a normal life, not as a celebrity.
The decision has come after a long discussion with Dongho and his parents, and both the company and the rest of the members have accepted the difficult decision. “Although it’s a decision that will be costly for the team, the members also agreed on Dong Ho’s wishes,” said the company. “Dong Ho’s empty spot will be burdensome, but the six members will release a new album soon.”
