After their album “99” was released earlier this week,  YG Entertainment’s new hip-hop group is now back on the stage, performing “Up” and “Don’t Hate Me” on the last ‘Inkigayo.’

If you haven’t heard the songs yet, here’s a brief summary of what they sound like.

“Up” is a upbeat track featuring Park Bom with a calm introduction and expressive melodic line and then it kicks into a fast paced beat which drives the rest of the song forward and then sadly towards the end. It features an electric guitar for all you electric guitar fans out there, a repetitive chorus, and smooth rapping.

“Don’t Hate Me” on the other hand has an acoustic guitar in the intro and then builds into a rock beat and then towards an energetic chorus, with a catchy melody and powerful rapping.

Watch their performance below and tell us what you think of it.
