Song Ji Hyo and Byun Yo Han are set to become TV’s newest couple for tvN’s new Friday-Saturday drama, ‘Ex-Girlfriend Club’.
‘Ex-Girlfriend Club’ is about popular webtoonist, Bang Myung Soo (Byun Yo Han), who creates a webtoon that is inspired by and is about his four past relationships with an an older divorcee, a pretentious woman and a third rate sexy actress. Bang Myung Soo goes from the lovable ex to public enemy #1 after revealing his love life inwebtoon.
The webtoon soon gets the chance to be turned into a motion picture, produced by Kim Soo Jin (Song Ji Hyo). The story takes a turn when he awkwardly bumps into all three of his ex-girlfriends in one place.
Song Ji Hyo will be playing Kim Soo Jin, a ruthless movie producer who will of anything and everything to survive whats ailing her and a failing company. In this determination to survive, her character decides to join in on turning the webtoon into a film, only to find out that the webtoonist is Myung Soo, the last person she wants to see because of their past history.
‘Ex-Girlfriend Club’ will be directed by Kwon Seok Jang, who brought viewers ‘Pasta’, ‘Golden Time‘, and ‘Korea’ and the script will be written by Lee Jin Mae, who wrote ‘Secret Agent Miss Oh’, and ‘I Am Sam’. The rest of the cast has not been revealed yet, and neither has the air date.
