I.O.I‘s Yoojung and Doyeon will finally be making their official debut with their company’s girl group.
After months of teasing about their new group, Fantagio Entertainment has recently released a statement confirming more details about it.
“We are in the process of selecting the finals members of the group. We are thinking of between 8-10 members. We are preparing i-Teen Girls with a debut goal of July.”

i-Teen Girls is still a tentative name for the group and could be changed at any time. However, the 6 trainees that were determined to likely be joining i-Teen Girls do not have guaranteed spots in the group either.
“Besides Doyeon and Yoojung, the other 6 trainees who were shown on the live broadcasts are not guaranteed to debut.”

Fantagio Entertainment recently sent Yoojung and Doyeon to the United States for 2 weeks of training and rest in preparation for their official debut. The potential members of i-Teen Girls have also been holding daily live broadcasts so the public can get to know them better.
