If you’re into Korean movies and live in North America, listen up!
On March 7th, the film “Tabloid Truth” will be playing in movie theaters all across the continent.
The movie features a scandalous rumor of an up-and-coming actress that is included as a mode of gossip in a stock market tipsheet. Propagated by the tabloids, the actress ends up taking her own life. Woo Gon (Kim Kang-Woo), the actress’ long-time and devoted manager who made it his sole duty to build up her career, begins a vengeful investigation in hopes to expose the sources of the harmful rumor.
Unexpectedly so, the manager gets assistance from a legendary wiretapper Baek Moon (Ko Chang-seok) and a tabloid distributor Mr. Park (Jeong Jin-yeong), only to get exposure of the opaque and rewarding world of secret tips and salacious rumors.
