It has been revealed that FNC Entertainment will be debuting a new idol boy band later this year. They were described as ‘free-spirited and funky’, which should be quite a change from the company’s other groups like CNBLUE and FT Island.

FNC Entertainment’s CEO revealed, “The next band will be more free and inhibited,” and “A male band debuting this year leaves the modesty that CNBLUE has. They are a funky band and enjoy themselves well”, as he explained the differences with their current artists.

The concept and idea of a new rock band was revealed in the past, when it was discovered that some idol group members had been FNC trainees before appearing in their current groups. A rumor going around recently says that younger brother of FT Island member Seunghyun, Sehyun, and Kwangjin might be members of the new band.

FNC Entertainment is known for its idol bands FT Island and CNBLUE,  Oh Wonbin and M Signal. Last yeat FNC debuted solo singer Juniel and rookie girl group and band AOA last year.

Are you looking forward to this new group?
