Even though the movie is unreleased in Korea, it has already been sold five countries which are, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia. It was also said that the drama will began to air in Japan on June.
A representative from Niners Entertainment, who is in charge the movie’s distribution in overseas countries, stated “With refreshing laughter and music, a story full of touching moments, and as rising Asia star, Lee Hong Gi’s movie debut, the movie has appealed to many overseas buyers.” The agency added, “We are currently receiving many overseas movie festival invitations and questions, so we believe the interest from overseas buyers will continue.”
The movie will feature a story of unruly idols who will eventually realize their life’s value and will began to volunteer to work with patients at hospitals. The FT Island member will be the lead actor in the said movie that will premiere on May 30th in Korea.
