On February 22nd, MBC confirmed that FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki and Japanese actress Fujii Mina will join “We Got Married′s International Edition” as an international couple.
MBC began planning the international edition of We Got Married last August 2012 together with Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks Asia.
The show is set to air in 41 different countries, including China, Taiwan, India, and Australia.
The international edition will follow the traditional format of We Got Married. It will also be portraying international marriage and show the stars learning about each other’s cultures.
2PM’s Taecyeon and Taiwanese star Gui Gui (Even Wu) were the first international couple to be confirmed to appear in the show.
On March 28th, a global production presentation for the international edition of We Got Married will be held via YouTube. The show is set to air on April.
