FT Island’s Lee Hongki will be replacing Tony An on Mnet’s ‘M!Countdown’ after Tony’s farewell last week.
“From August 30, Lee Hong Gi, from the flower boy band FT Island, will be hosting ‘M Countdown’ as the new MC following the reorganization of the show,” said Producer Jung Yoo Jin of ‘M Countdown’ on August 27th.
He also added, “Lee Hong Gi covers much ground as a singer, and has everything an MC would need including a great skill with words and wit. He’s especially fluent in Japanese, and is popular overseas; traits which led us to choose him as the next MC that fits the global music chart show ‘M Countdown’ the best.”
He began hosting the show on August 30th, Thursday, 6pm.
