This year the variety show, Infinity Challenge, held their bi-yearly music festival. This year’s festival, “2013 Infinity Challenge Freedom Road Music Festival,” took place on October 17th, with the episode airing on November 2nd. Since there are seven Infinity Challenge members, there are seven teams and they are tasked with writing a new song and performing it at the festival. The songs are subsequently released and usually sweep the charts.
Jung Hyung Don and G-Dragon choose their team name to be, Hyung Yong Don Jyong, which translates to “Hyung give me allowance”. Park Myung Soo and Primary choose Leech, Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Hee Yeol became How Do Yoo Two, Noh Hong Chul and Rose Inn decided on Rose Jaw, Jung Joon Ha and Kim C formed Double Play, Haha and Jang Gi Ha and The Faces joined forced as Seventy Fingers and Gil and BoA picked G.A.B.
During the festival, Jung Hyung Don and G-Dragon gave a spectacular performance of their newly composed hip-hop track “Going to Try,” complete with Defconn showing up dressed as a pigeon.
After the performance during an interview G-Dragon shared, “Hyung Don hyung has his eye on the Best Couple Award.” Jung Hyung Don asked, “Are you going to come to the awards ceremony?” G-Dragon answered, “If we get the award, I will.”
Meanwhile, Hyung Yong Don Jyong’s “Going to Try” is topped music charts along with other their fellow Infinity Challenge groups, Leech’s “I Got C,” How Do Yoo Two’s “Please Don’t Go My Girl,” Rose Jaw’s “Call Me Oppa,” Double Play’s “Will Be Gone,” Seventy Fingers’ “Super Jab-Cho Man,” and G.A.B.’s “G.A.B.”
