G-Dragon gave a lot of praise to his YG family members and showed nothing but love on the latest installment of ‘Entertainment Relay‘ which aired October 26. The cast met up with BIGBANG’s leader who was in the middle of a see of fan girls during his guerrilla date.
The host asked G-Dragon “It’s getting old now to hear the words, ‘Oppa, you’re good looking’, right?” G-Dragon replied, “It’s nice to hear it anytime.” The reporter went on saying, “Oppa, you dress nicely or oppa, you’re good looking. Which one do you like better?”, to which G-Dragon chimed in, “Oppa, you dress nicely and are good looking.” When he was finally asked, “Oppa you dress nicely, oppa you’re good looking or oppa your songs are the best. Which one do you like the best?” G-Dragon shared, “I just like being called oppa.”
G-Dragon led a tour of the YG Cafeteria which has been receiving good reviews. The reporter enjoyed himself greatly. G-Dragon shared during the interview, “Recently, Jae Suk hyung said that he wanted his parents to come and eat here.” Once they were back in the studio, the reporter noticed the CCTV camera and out of curiosity asked why were they placed there, G-Dragon explained, “There are a lot of rooms, artists, and composers so rather than calling everyone one-by-one, he (Yang Hyun Suk) watches that and finds out what we’re doing and where. It’s a surveillance. If I’m sleeping, he calls me and asks, ‘Why are you sleeping?’… I’ve seen [Yang Hyun Suk] for the longest time. We meet often so there are a lot of reasons for us to talk so we’re close.”
When he was asked, “Do you plan to be signed with YGE forever?”, G-Dragon seemed flustered and uneasy responding as best he could, “I am still young.” The reporter asked if the rapper was ever willing to go to another company asking, “Would you want to go to JYPE and learn the half-air-half-sound technique?” G-Dragon showed his solidarity to his YG Family stating, “I don’t think I’ll go to another agency.”
G-Dragon also shared a funny behind-the-scenes story when he learned that Seungri was genius after he saw how Seungri handled his solo album, revealing “It took me over a year to create my album. But in Seungri’s case, after our CEO told Seungri, ‘Seungri ya, make an album’, his album came out two weeks later… Seungri is a genius. Maybe two weeks is a bit of a stretch but it took three weeks.”
The reporter asked, “Can you pick out the things about your fellow members that you’re jealous of?” G-Dragon shared, “I’m jealous of Seungri’s ambition, T.O.P‘s face, Taeyang‘s feel/sense, and Daesung‘s body
