Girls’ Generation proved their popularity in Japan, as after staying at fourth place on its debut day, they soared to first place on Oricon‘s Daily Singles Chart.

Their Japanese single “Galaxy Supernova” is first place after their second day, having sold over 14,500 units. The results, compared to their earlier singles “Flower Power” and “Love&Girls,” show that this new one is doing well, selling at a faster pace.

“Galaxy Supernova” is a song to advertise the girls’ campaign for fashion company Samathan Thavasa.

Congratulations to the girls!
