On November 10th’s broadcast of KBS’ Superman is Back, we got to see our favorite daddy-daughter duo. Epic High’s, Tablo, and his daughter Haru spent a day without Kang Hye Jung. Even though she is only four years of age, Haru shows off a caring and thoughtful persona especially when it comes to her mother, actress Kang Hye Jung.
After they returned to an empty house, Haru expected her mother to be home but became saddened when she couldn’t find her, asking where her mother was. Haru couldn’t help but tear up as Tablo tried to explain Kang Hye Jung was working. All teary eyed she asked her father if her mother ate.
Later on, Tablo showed some photos of Kang Hye Jung to Haru as she was getting ready to fall asleep as a way to make Haru feel better since she missed her mother so much. After a few minutes passed from looking at the pictures, Haru looked away, rubbing her eyes. An attentive Tablo asked if she was crying, Haru shooked her head, as she answered her father with “I’m not crying. It’s because of the lights.”
Haru’s love for her parents is indeed a bond that can’t be broken, when asked who would she choose between Tablo and Big Bang’ s Taeyang. Without any hesitation Haru answered “Daddy.” In disbelief Tablo asked once more, this time with G-Dragon as a choice. Once again with no hesitation Haru answered,”Daddy”.
The heart warming moments continued when Kang Hye Jung video-called Tablo to talk to Haru. Haru asked where her mother (Kang Hye Jung) was telling her that she wanted to give her mommy a hug, and when told she couldn’t Haru found a way by proceeding to hug the cellphone that had her mother’s face on it surprising both her parents in the process.
On a trip to to the aquarium Haru became afraid as they went through the shark tunnel changing Tablo into super-dad mode as he carried Haru through the rest of the shark tunnel with his broken shoulder, showing what it means to be a father.
Meanwhile, Kang Hye Jung said in an interview on the program that Haru′s ranking of favorite things would most likely be Mom, fish, and Dad.
