MBC are in talks of bringing the hit Korean drama, “I Miss You” to the US and Europe.

The drama stars idol, former TVXQ member and current JYJ member Park Yoon Chun as the male lead protagonist, Jung Woo in the romantic thriller last year. The story tells of childhood sweethearts who are separated by tragic events, and meet years later.

Currently, the drama is being aired in Japan on the network DATV, and will begin airing in Hong Kong later this spring. “I Miss You” is expected to air in China and the US sometime in June or July, according to producers of the show. An official from the show has said that after the details for the airings are settled, they will focus on efforts for Europe.

The Japanese broadcast for the show have been extremely well and has very good ratings.

There is no confirmation about the logistics of the romantic drama and it’s possible airing in the US, but MBC seems pretty confident that with Yoonchun, and JYJ’s global success will draw in viewers, and “I Miss You” will be extremely successful.
