Isak‘s contract with SM Entertainment expired and she decided to leave the agency after 10 years.
SM Entertainment’s representative revealed that Isak parted ways with SM Entertainment in September of last year and has not yet signed on with a new agency.
Isak debuted under SM Entertainment in a duo group, Isak N Jiyeon, back in 2002. Member Ji Yeon later joined SM’s CSJH The Grace under her new name as Lina while Isak has worked primarily as a DJ, VJ and MC since then and appeared in musicals and sitcoms.
Isak is currently working as a DJ of Arirang Radio’s K-Poppin.
