Recently, IU was appointed an honorary police officer to fight school violence.

On the 15th, she guested at the National Police Agency’s police commission ceremony in Seodaemungu, Seoul. Known for her bubbly, innocent and bright image, IU was appointed as the school violence prevention ambassador.

The event’s prime goal was to encourage policemen and the public to pay more attention to school violence. Other stars, such as comedians Jung Tae Ho, Park Sung Kwang, Shin Bora of the Brave Guys were also made honorary officers.

Fans can look forward to IU’s new KBS 2TV drama ‘You’re the Best Lee Soon Shin‘ which will premiere in March after ‘My Daughter Seoyoung‘. She will also make her first break-through into the Japanese market by releasing a Japanese mini-album on March the 20th.
