Japanese rock band, Alice Nine, participated in an interview for Nico Nico, where they mentioned they had an opportunity to work with 2NE1 in the past.

Member Shou was asked about the concert that left a big impression on him. He answered, “No matter whose concert it is there’s always something to be learned. Ah… last year I went to a 2NE1 concert [New Evolution Japan Arena Tour] with the manager. And between the performances, a staff from that venue came up to my seat and asked something like: “Would you be willing to do a collaboration?”.

He continued, The manager refused at once but… The truth is it was planned to call me up to the stage in the middle of the concert as a surprise. The guest would sit on a chair and the band members would dance around him. (laugh)” [Note: He is probably referring to Dara’s ‘Kiss’ performances].

It was not the first time Shou revealed his love for 2NE1 as he has previously tweeted his admiration for Blackjacks and 2NE1’s performances, “I went to 2NE1’s live with the managers, it was wonderful entertainment! I wanna do a live soon! …I was also overwhelmed by the female fans’ power” .

Would you like to see 2NE1 and Alice Nine together on one stage?
