Big Hit Entertainment had revealed that Jinwoon from 2AM had gotten into a car accident and was scheduled for surgery.
Big Hit Entertainment stated that around 11:30PM on October 6 KST, the car Jinwoon was in collided with a 25-ton truck. Jinwoon’s right ankle has been fractured and suffered about a 10cm-long laceration and was due for surgery.
Also, the manager and the staff were also injured with Jinwoon when they were on their way back to Seoul.
Jinwoon is currently in Samsung Medical Center in Seoul.
Big Hit Entertainment had stated on a phone call with local news agency My Daily Jinwoon had come out of surgery for his right ankle. The official result is not in yet, so stay tuned on more about what happened. But for the time being he will be staying in the hospital.
