JYJ‘s Kim Junsu and Kim Jaejoong will be enlisting in the military later this year.
The two idols are deciding on a date ahead of their enlistment. In Jaejoong’s case, he has already received multiple military draft notices, but he requested for a deferment of military enlistment due to long period of overseas promotions.
A representative of the industry stated, “It has become difficult for him to push back his enlistment any further. He is currently deciding on an enlistment date with his agency due to his scheduled activities but he plans to enlist at the end of this year, or earlier next year at the latest.”
On the other hand, Junsu, who received a second grade active duty designation, is also in discussions about his enlistment date and with the current controversy surrounding celebrity soldiers, Junsu is said to be planning on enlisting as a regular solider.
