Park Jin Young (JYP) and Heize have dropped the official lyric video for their moving duet track, ‘Regrets’.

The lyric video is animated, with visions of a train station, trains, city scapes and nostalgic drawings. ‘Regrets’ is about a break up, and the regrets a couple have after the end of their relationship. It is one of JYP’s first ballads in years.

Recently, JYP shared an emotional Instagram post, revealing how the duet Heize came to be. Check out the post below, where JYP mentions to being in awe of her ability to sing with emotion, and about how she cried after being sent the lyrics to the song!

'듣자마자 펑펑 울었어요. 저 이 노래 부르고 싶습니다!' 그렇게 '후회해'라는 곡이 만들어졌습니다. 월요일 낮 12시 기대해주세요…^^ Watching her sing at my show Party People I thought to myself 'How can she sing with so much emotion?' After a couple of days, having her voice stuck in my head, I sent her a song called 'Regrets' feeling strong that she would understand the emotion behind it. And she text me back 'I cried so hard as soon as I heard the song. I really want to sing it!' That's how 'Regrets' was born. Get ready people Monday noon!
