During the latest episode of ‘Barefoot Friends,’ both, Kang Ho Dong and Kim Hyun Joong turn out to be deficient in common knowledge.
Both men quizzed each other on general knowledge while in the car, heading towards their next destination. While on the subject of rivers and oceans, Kang Ho Dang said,“Aren’t there four big rivers in the world?” Kim Hyun Joong replied with, “Does the one in Egypt count?”
“Why would you go to Egypt,” Kang Ho Dong scoffed.
Getting confused, Kim Hyun Joong replied,“Egypt has the Red Sea, but that’s an ocean.” Kang Ho Dong continued his tirade, saying, “Isn’t it the Yellow Sea?”
Alluding to the famous Korea movie of the same name, Kim Hyun Joong said,“I thought the Yellow Sea was a movie. I don’t think any of us know the answer.”
However, their conversation continued. Arriving at the desert, Kang Ho Dong exclaimed,“It looks like the O’hara Desert” – misspeaking the name of the Sahara. Kim Hyun Joong collasped into laughter, while Kim Hyun Joong said, “It’s all right – at least it’s not the Goo Hara desert,” sending both men into fits of laughter.
