Although they are now a happily married couple, Han Hye Jin and Ki Sung Yueng had a short breakup period that actually helped patch things up even stronger.
On July 1’s broadcast of SBS’ ‘Healing Camp,’ Han Hye Jin was featured as the guest and shared her love story with Ki Sung Yueng, as well as the bumps they faced.
In a video message, he admitted that at a certain point, he felt burdened by all the glances people shot, so he decided to end things between then.
“I hurt you by saying let’s break up,” said Ki Sung Yueng. “Usually in situations like that, you could get mad, but instead you apologized and accepted everything, making me feel terrible.”
He continued, “I said let’s break up because of everyone watching, but the more I thought about it, I wondered if I really needed to worry about that, especially if it meant that I lose you”.
He added in after, “I couldn’t imagine you with anyone else, and I felt that I was going to regret losing you over something like this. So even though I was really sorry, I wanted to be with you again.”
Hearing Ki Sung Yueng’s confession, she began to tear up, until Ki Sung Yueng hilariously put in, “You didn′t curse behind my back, did you?”
The couple wed on July 1st.
