On August 6th, Kim Hyun Joong appeared as a guest on SBS‘ “Incarnation,” and sat down to correct few rumors about him.
One of the rumors that he wanted to correct is the one saying that since he became a Hallyu star, he stopped acknowledging his juniors when they greet him.
When Kim Hyun Joong heard the rumor, he explained that the real reason why he avoids his juniors is because he’s actually shy. He also shared that the greetings are so robotic that he said, “It’s like we’re in North Korea. I feel like I have become the leader. Receiving their bows itself seems authoritative to me.”
The star also expressed that he doesn’t particularly care for their “weird system” and hoped that in the future, it could be more relaxed and carefree.
