Park Ji Yeon, better known by her stage name, Gummy, has been wowing audiences with her powerful vocals in Korea and Japan for over a decade.

Gummy debuted with YG Entertainment in 2003 with her first album “Like Them.” Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming success of others on the label at the same time, Gummy did not begin to see real success until the release of her second album, “It’s Different.” The title track, “Memory Loss” topped the charts and won her several awards in 2004. She released “For the Bloom” the following year, and then did not come back with a new album until 2008 with “Comfort.”

The release of “Comfort” was delayed due to Gummy’s desire to make the best album she could. The lead single “I’m Sorry” features T.O.P from BigBang and peaked in the top 5 spots on the music charts. Gummy had her next comeback in 2010 with the “Loveless” mini album, which also was her first Japanese release. Her most recent release was last year with the “Fate” mini album. She celebrated her 10 year anniversary as well with a special fanmeeting. Her contract with YG was up in October, and she is now signed under C-JeS Entertainment.
