Choi Jin Hee, or better known as the singer-songwriter  Juniel, made her official debut on April 29th, 2011 under FNC Music Entertainment. She was first known as ‘Junie’ but later on it was combined with love (L) and resulted in Juniel. Her fans are officially called ‘Banila.’

She was first trained at Good Entertainment but due to some financial problems in the company, she decided to auditioned for FNC Entertaiment and became a trainee at the same day as CN Blue‘s Yonghwa. She debuted in Japan first with song titled ‘Ready Go,’ that was featured on her first mini album, on April 29th,  2011.

And finally, on June 7th, 2012 her Korean debut single ‘Illa Illa’ was released which became the theme song for the Korean drama “A Gentleman’s Dignity.” She was awarded the ‘New Rising Star’ award on 27th Golden Disk Awards the same year.
