ODD EYE has released their debut music video for “Catch Me If You Can.”

Watch the video here:

The ladies bring a funky, psychedelic taste to Shostakovich‘s “String Quartet No. 8.” Their voices are light and airy, yet hauntingly beautiful. It makes for an interesting combo. And by interesting, I mean good.

The effects throughout the whole video is pretty much a kaleidoscope, and shown in black and white. It had that weird 3-D effect on the girls at some points, and it kinda weirded me out.

There isn’t really a dance, what I saw was mostly hair and arm flailing and maybe vogue-ing. But a couple of the members play the bass and violin. I thought that was pretty cool.

At the end of the video, it announces that a second song will be released soon.

You can catch this song on iTunes as a single.

Overall, it’s a very interesting song and video for a debut, but next time I would like to see the video focus on the ladies more. Looking forward to more from this group.
