On November 8th, Kris Wu dropped the music video for his new single, ‘July.’ The music video is a nice treat for international fans since the song is in English. The singer/actor can be seen throughout the video in various looks bumping to the beat. The song can be categorized as “Future Bass” style and combines a mix of electro R&B and EDM elements. The singers vocals are smooth and definitely fits the genre. The song is sure to be a club banger.
The single was released on Apple Music and iTunes on November 3rd. Shortly after being dropped, the release became the second single by a Chinese artist to enter the Top 50 iTunes charts in the United States and ranked number 1 in its own genre.
