Lee Jun Ki in talks for historical fantasy drama 'Scholar Who Walks The Night'
It seems we will get to see Lee Jun Ki in a new drama soon.
According to Lee Jun Ki's agency on March 17th, the actor has recently received the offer to play as the male lead in MBC's upcoming drama 'Scholar Who Walks The Night', but nothing has been confirmed as he's still considering the role.
'Scholar Who Walks The Night' is based on a popular manhwa(Korean comic), about a Joseon world where vampires secretly live among humans. Lee Jun Ki's role is a said to be a vampire scholar.
Han Groo is also in talks to star in the drama as the female lead. She will play as the daughter of a nobleman and has to disguise herself as a man and sells books for living after her father was accused of being a traitor.
'Scholar Who Walks The Night' will be written by Jang Hyun Joo, who wrote 'Coffee Prince', and directed by Lee Sung Joon, who was the second director on 'Empress Ki' and 'The Moon Embracing The Sun'. The drama is scheduled to go on air in July.
