Bad news for actress Lee Mi Sook – who has lost a lawsuit against her former agency and was ordered to pay 120 million won as a result.
The Contents Entertainment originally demanded 200 million won, claiming that it had signed a four-year contract with Lee Mi Sook in January 2006 but that she moved to another agency in January 2009, a date before the settled expiration of their contract.
At first, the court ruled that the actress pay 20 million won to The Contents Entertainment, but the agency again lodged an appeal, demanding 300 million won this time.
