Veteran singer Lee Seung Chul has recently made the headlines with his comment in which he criticized the revealing outfits of female groups in K-Pop.
Many netizens have been discussing if he was commenting the controversial videos of Kim Ye Rin, Girl’s Day and Dal Shabet.
However, the singer’s agency clarified all the rumors, stating that Lee Seung Chul wasn’t attacking Kim Ye Rim, but was more referring to the overall direction that the music industry is headed with girl group revealing more skin than ever. The tweet was just his way of expressing regret as a senior.
Lee Seung Chul has previously wrote on his Twitter, “Naked legs, underwear teasers…optical illusion outfits?? T_T T_T. It′s not right to promote like this.”
