Miss A‘s Chinese members Fei and Jia are the ambassadors of the exhibition of Chinese puppetry known as “Shadow Play”.
“Shadow Play” production tells the story of a traditional Chinese folktale through puppetry. It has been popular in Europe and other parts of the world. The exhibition will finally arrive in Korea to let people know of the story.
The girls shared, “We feel very proud to introduce the shadow play we saw in China during our childhood to Korea. Especially as we watched the story of ‘The Monkey King’ who fights with a ghost played out through a puppet show, we remember it developing our dreams and imagination. We will do our best, so that even more people will be able to understand Chinese culture through ‘Shadow Play’.”
“Shadow Play” exhibition will run from May 4th to June 30th at the Hongik Art Center.
