YG to debut new girl group in 2018.
A YG Entertainment girl group is currently in the works! A YG Entertainment representative revealed on November 24th that Yang Hyun Suk is currently working on a girl group. Yang Hyun Suk is keeping a tight lip about the group, so no spoilers so far. However, they are expected to have a completely different sound to BLACKPINK.
YG debuted BLACKPINK two years ago. They’ve been greatly loved, making headlines with their tracks like ‘Whistle‘ and ‘Playing With Fire‘. YG Entertainment seems to focus more on survival shows currently. The most popular being ‘MIXNINE‘.
‘K-pop Star 2‘ contestant Bang Ye Dam will also be debuting as part of a YG Entertainment boy group in 2018. So it looks like YG Entertainment will be busy for the year to come. What would you prefer more: a girl group or boy group?
